OPBE Speakers

Rachael Bermingham

Ten years ago, Rachael Bermingham was facing bankruptcy. She had no income, no book idea, no writing experience and no marketing experience. What she did have was a goal to become one of Australia's  favorite authors and she has!   Since then Rachael has written 8 bestselling books in the last 7 years and is regarded as one of Australia’s #1 female self-published authors having sold over 6 million copies of her books.

A naturally enthusiastic entrepreneur, Rachael’s talent for business shone early when she started her first business at only 19. Having experienced a variety of jobs – including travel agent, stunt woman and shark feeder – Rachael started her journey as a best-selling author in 2006, when she co-wrote, self-published and self-funded her first book Read My Lips (an inspirational book for women on how to achieve their goals) before embarking on a culinary journey co-authoring the phenomenally successful best-selling range of cookbooks under the banner of 4 Ingredients.

Rachael became renowned for her ability and natural flair in innovative business-building from a home base, around family commitments using astute business strategies and clever cost-effective marketing tactics.

Most recently Rachael wrote and published her 2nd solo bestseller – Savvy – Ingredients for Success.
